After preheating your oven, place the pizza rolls in the air fryer basket in a single later to avoid overcrowding and allow even cooking.
Cook frozen pizza rolls in an air fryer
Put the air fryer basket into the air fryer and cook pizza rolls at the recommended temperature for around 8 minutes. Meanwhile, keep tracking the progress and shake the basket halfway through gently for proper cooking.
Flip the pizza rolls for better results

I love pizza rolls so much that I’m always trying new, exciting recipes, sometimes from the recipe card and sometimes, through research. By far, my favorite and easy air fryer recipe is with garlic butter and parmesan cheese.
The sublime taste of garlic butter with a dash of oregano, parsley and crushed red pepper is something to devour. Also, the parmesan cheese adds more flavor to this recipe. Easy air fryer recipes for frozen pizza rolls
If you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy ready-to-eat frozen pizza rolls from the store, I’ve got a delicious recipe for you.
Things you need:
- 3 one-ounce slices of string cheese (sliced in half crosswise)
- 10 ounces of refrigerated pizza dough
- 3.5 ounces of pizza-style Canadian bacon
- 1/3 cup of pizza sauce
- Cornmeal (optional)
- Oregano (as desired)
How to cook:
- On your frying basket, lightly apply non stick cooking spray and sprinkle a thin layer of cornmeal on the parchment paper
- Press the dough to make a rectangle and cut into squares. Stuff the Canadian bacon in the middle of each square and place oregano on top of it.
- Add string cheese and pizza sauce on top and create small packets of pizza rolls.
- Once you’re done making the rolls, put them in the air fryer and air fry pizza rolls on the desired temperature until you get golden brown and crispy pizza rolls

Do I need a cooking spray or parchment paper to fry pizza rolls?
Personally, I don’t like placing parchment paper and the pizza rolls come just fine without burning or sticking. However, you can always place parchment paper as it takes nothing. As far as the cooking spray is concerned, I don’t advise spraying the basket as it might affect the flavor. But, if you still want to, you can apply a thin layer of olive oil using a brush to every distribute the oil on the basket.

If your pizza rolls are frozen, you can definitely cook them in the air fryer. Just give them a few more minutes to thaw out and cook completely.
What sauce is good with pizza rolls?
